The DrugTest 5000 is used by our consultants to test for drugs in a matter of minutes. The process is quite simple:
- A small device, called a collector, is used by the person taking the test and rubbed briefly back and forth between his or her cheek and gums until an indicator shows that enough of a saliva sample has been collected. This usually takes less than a minute.
- The collector is then placed in the Drager DrugTest 5000, for analysis and a positive or negative result is displayed. This takes approximately 5 to 6 minutes.
The process is not only quick and easy, it’s also extremely accurate. And importantly, it’s a process that has a high level of acceptance amongst those being tested. Which all adds up to the unit receiving wide acclaim by police forces and other testing agencies in Australia and overseas.
