In-house drug and alcohol testing

Published

It’s a question that’s asked by some businesses: Can I conduct my own in-house drug and alcohol testing?

The simple answer to this question is yes, you can conduct your own drug and alcohol testing. It is possible for any business to purchase equipment and kits that allows them to carry out their own testing. They can then do as much or little testing as they like, when and where they like.

Perhaps the better question, however, is should I conduct my own in-house drug and alcohol testing?

Integrity Sampling’s primary service is to conduct drug and alcohol testing. It’s what we do and we do it well. Our technicians are highly trained and accredited to undertake all facets of testing. What’s more, we do it in a cost-effective and efficient manner, using the best testing equipment available and in a way that is compliant with all relevant Australian Standards.

This means you can trust the accuracy of the testing and be confident that the processes we follow will stand up to scrutiny.

Is in-house testing, therefore, a bad thing? Not necessarily and in some cases, particularly in remote areas, in-house drug and alcohol testing may be your only option.

If your business is contemplating in-house testing, the important thing is to make sure you do it right. Make sure you get the right equipment, training, support and advice you need by contacting Integrity Sampling.
