‘Ice Age’ a Four Corners must see

Published

A fascinating episode of ABC’s Four Corners this week claimed that there are many cities, towns and people around Australia that are in the grip of an ice drug epidemic.

The show alleges the distribution of the drug is sophisticated, involving international drug cartels and local motorcycle gangs, who are pushing ice into our towns and cities. In many cases, the targets are teenagers in country towns, where boredom and a lack of support resources are major factors.

If you’d like to watch the Four Corners program, go to the ABC’s website.

Meanwhile, if you’re an employer, you’d be naïve to think there aren’t people within your workforce who use ice and are potentially affected by it while at work.
