Queensland Police to use Drager units

Published

The Queensland Police Service will use the same drug testing equipment used by Integrity Sampling for its drug testing. This follows the Queensland Police Service’s acceptance of Dra?ger’s DrugTest® 5000 units for its Oral Fluid Roadside Drug Testing program.

Queensland Police Service will be the first Australian jurisdiction to deploy the Dra?ger DrugTest® 5000 for roadside testing. The product was launched in 2008 to complement Dra?ger’s comprehensive range of breath analysis equipment. The Dra?ger DrugTest® 5000 has since undergone several independent evaluations at leading toxicology institutes in Australia and is widely regarded as one of the most accurate, specific and sensitive oral-fluid drug testing products.

Both the Queensland Police Service and Dra?ger are looking forward to a successful deployment of the equipment in order to keep Queensland’s roads safe.
