About the Opportunity
If you are located in the South Australian Riverland area (Berri, Loxton, Renmark) and are looking for flexible working hours, autonomy and meaningful work that contributes to workplace safety, this could be a great opportunity for you.
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented and professional independent contractor to provide drug and alcohol testing services to our clients throughout the Riverland in South Australia.
In this role, you will attend client workplaces to conduct oral fluid, urine and breath alcohol testing, ensuring all testing is completed accurately, professionally and confidentially.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing oral fluid (saliva) testing, urine specimen collection and alcohol breath testing.
- Ensuring all testing procedures and documentation are completed accurately and in accordance with required procedures.
- Handling sensitive personal information with strict confidentiality.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanour at client sites.
- Travelling to client locations throughout the South Australian Riverland and surrounding areas as required.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A strong work ethic and commitment to providing a quality service.
- The ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills and confidence using digital systems.
- A current South Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, fully insured vehicle.
- A current Police Clearance Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- A Statement of Attainment in Specimen Collection, or willingness to obtain one.
Experience in specimen collection, healthcare, pathology, workplace health and safety, law enforcement or drug and alcohol testing would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Full training will be provided for the right person.
